I’m really proud to have been the Photography Department Chair at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop in Washington, DC since 2016.
I’ve had a few major successes there, including
Cleaning up and refurbishing the darkroom facilities, which is the only publicly accessible darkroom in the city of DC
Upgrading the digital facilities to include large format printing capabilities
Instituting a bi-yearly Darkroom Residency for local artists, providing much needed free access to our photographic facilities and supporting the local photographic community
Hosting artist talks and workshops to increase cohesion and community within the DC photography community
Increasing the number of artists using the facilities while maintaining its utility for hobby artists and community members
