I’m really proud to have been the Photography Department Chair at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop in Washington, DC since 2016.

I’ve had a few major successes there, including

  • Cleaning up and refurbishing the darkroom facilities, which is the only publicly accessible darkroom in the city of DC

  • Upgrading the digital facilities to include large format printing capabilities

  • Instituting a bi-yearly Darkroom Residency for local artists, providing much needed free access to our photographic facilities and supporting the local photographic community

  • Hosting artist talks and workshops to increase cohesion and community within the DC photography community

  • Increasing the number of artists using the facilities while maintaining its utility for hobby artists and community members
