Vivian Maier: A Photographer Found

While attending the MFA program at the International Center of Photography I was asked by one of my professors, Marvin Heiferman, to assist him in a project on Vivian Maier. Over the summer of 2013 I helped him research the photographic and cultural context of Maier’s life, and I helped select and sequence images for the publication of a monograph of her work.

About the book, “The definitive monograph of American photographer Vivian Maier, exploring the full range and brilliance of her work and the mystery of her life, written and edited by noted photography curator and writer Marvin Heiferman; featuring 250 black-and-white images, color work, and other materials never seen before; and a foreword by New York Times bestselling author Laura Lippman.”
