To Feel All Your Warmth

To Feel All Your Warmth

I was thrilled to be included in the group exhibition To Feel All Your Warmth at Warbling Collective and curated by Robyn Graham. My piece This Is the Closest I’ll Come to Touching You the Way I Want was included amongst many other talented artists in the show.

See installation images and read the show brief below:

Warmth is a feeling often associated with home, where another person's presence results in a warm, gentle slow burn and is a result of our selfless surrender to the other. In some cases, it's an idea of home, in others, it's a physical place, a physical embrace. In allowing each other to occupy space together, whether it be inside real boundaries or within our intangible self, all can feel warmer. The consequence, the ability to truly feel the cold. A longing that is not experienced nearby, side-by-side, but is held onto dearly by a loved one far from home.

From afar, a memory of intimacy.

Warbling is an artist-run curatorial project in London, UK, presenting artists from all over the world, those outside the large cities, alongside artists who are based here. Bringing together a programme driven by the necessity for artists who usually share their work predominantly online to show their practice in person, within a physical space and as part of a growing international community of artists. Warbling is run by artist Robyn Graham.
